Netresto was created in 2002 by a family restaurant group that wanted to use the skills and experience of its teams for an innovative project.
Continuing the development of La Criée brand, founder Jean-François Damour created and developed a human resources and inventory management software, which was completely revolutionary in France at the time.
As an astute businessman, his vision was clear: to develop a powerful management tool that is, above all, accessible to all his teams within the restaurants.
Netresto became the backbone of the group of 50 restaurants. It also became a competitive advantage for the recruitment of managers by simplifying the administrative management of their daily work.
In 2016, with the aim of facilitating the follow-up of self-checking and traceability in the restaurants’ kitchens, Netresto launched a new module related to HACCP and audits.
In 2017, faced with the sector’s accelerated digitization, Jean-François Damour decided to market Netresto with a strong desire to support customers.
His son, Aurélien Damour, took over the management of Netresto to share his operational experience acquired at the head of the family group. He accompanied new players in a rapidly developing sector, but also allowed historical players to structure themselves.
In January 2022, Laurence Corpechot-Damour succeeded her brother and continues the family adventure supported by her teams. As a Netresto customer in her network of more than 20 daycare centers created in 2012, she is convinced by the solution that allows digital technology to be used by entrepreneurs and managers in order to simplify their daily management.
Her ambition for mycawan is to become the reference in digital management solutions in the hotel-restaurant sector while maintaining a close relationship with its customers.
As part of a brand development strategy, Netresto became mycawan in June 2022. Today, more than 3,000 establishments trust mycawan for the management of their business.
